The Magnets, a 'six-man sound machine'

De groep bracht exclusieve feestjes van supermodellen en staatshoofden op smaak en stond op het podium met 's werelds grootste artiesten. In deze theatershow geeft de 'six-man sound machine' bekende popklassiekers een verrassende vocale draai, van Joy Division tot de Scissor Sisters, van een zwoele Lady GaGa tot Bon Jovi in een bossanovajasje. Publieksfavoriet is ongetwijfeld 'A-Z', een medley met nummers van AC/DC tot The Zutons. Er was een dag dat u misschien uw neus ophaalde voor a capella. Maar dat is met The Magnets voltooid verleden tijd.

Just by opening their mouths and singing The Magnets produce a sound that is just a little less than that produced by a substantial orchestra. The group have peppered the festive evenings of super models and heads of state and they have shared stages with the world’s greatest artists. In this theatre show the ‘six-man sound machine' gives a surprising vocal twist to familiar popular classics from Joy Division to the Scissor Sisters, from the sultry Lady GaGa to Bon Jovi à la bossa nova. The audience’s favourite is undoubtedly 'A-Z', a medley of numbers from AC/DC to The Zutons. Once upon a time you might have turned your nose up at a capella singing. But The Magnets make sure you never will again.
